Next Topic - Nutrition

The next topic we will be doing will be nutrition.
Here we will do various crafts and activities about healthy food and not so healthy food.

Hopefully the children will want to eat more fruit and vegetables and not so many sweeties, but this is a tough one:)

Scissor Practice

Pasta Play

The children had a great time today playing with different pasta shapes. This tactile activity is great for the children to develop their fine motor skills. With this activity they are experimenting with volume and capacity as they fill containers and pour them into others.

Nature Area

At school we are lucky to have a nature area where we can take the children. Here the children can see different plants and flowers and observe insects in their natural habitat.
The children can also see the numerous fish , turtles and frogs which are swimming around in the ponds.
